I don’t know what could possibly make the clam chowder famous as the menu says, but for me it was hard to discern any taste of clams at all, quite frankly, I’ve had better from a can. The halibut was dry and over cooked, and even the fries were stale and dry- coleslaw mediocre at best. The scallops were mostly breaded taste. Local tourist trap disappointment. Not worth the long wait

If you like fried fish Anria's is great. There's usually a line out the door but don't be discouraged, they are fast and good.

Not sure what happened to this place. I haven't been there in years and it feels like it kinda went down hill. The shark and chips and clam chowder were both pretty good but the Halibut and Chips was kinda tough and chewy.For the price I'd expect (and remember it was) a lot better.

Always a pleasant meal at this quaint, Ventura Harbor establishment. Prices are not what I would call "bargin", but what good seafood is(?). We enjoy every chance we get to frequent Andria's Seafood.

Andris seafood has been a long time favorite. It is a local spot that is great! It is right next to my work so I find myself there from time to time. The only problem is the line for this place is so long so I dont have the time to go as often as I would like... thumbs up on good seafood. The workers here are awesome too totally down to earth. Keep up the good work.

Excellent seafood restaurant. The selection is huge so you can pick anything your in the mood for. Prices are reasonable & the staff is really friendly. The atmosphere is relaxing & you can sit & relax as long as you like without being rushed. Highly recommend to everyone.

Good seafood. Competitive prices. Great location. Expect to wait a few minutes especially at lunchtime on the weekend.

My wife and I love the clam chowder here. The fish and chips are large enough to split. The staff is attentive to customer needs.

Today was our first visit. We shared the clam chowder and the original fish and chips. Food came out super quick, portions were good size, and quality was spot on. Atmosphere was relaxed and what you would expect from a walk up restaurant by the beach. Will definitely be a customer again.

So many options, but I go with the Captains combo, you cant go wrong with this fried basket. With Fish, Shrimp, Calamari, Scallops and Fries how can you go wrong. Also, great Clam Chowder! The line goes super fast and the food doesn't take long to come out, a must try if your in the area.

HUGE portions. You can definitely share! Fish and chips (cod) is excellent and the Cole slaw is super good!!! The CB Halibut is really good too!

Great food. The original fish and chips are amazing. To be honest everything there is good. I've been coming here since I was little with my great grandparents. Today I took my great grandma back there and for a woman who is a picky eater she ate everything on her plate. Just watch outnfornthe bird haha

I was raised nearby. Everytime I visit CA, I have to go there. Great seafood, great views,, makes me want to move back. Oh, and great icecream a few shops down for dessert. 👍

Cool atmosphere with what seems like longtime loyal crowds. Food is fresh. We ordered everything fried, so it was a bit heavy and will try more variety another time.

We got the fish and chips, the popcorn shrimp and chips, and clam chowder. It was all very well made and a great amount of food for the price. Fast friendly service. I am very happy with my experience!

Love this place. Great hole in the wall seafood joint with something for everyone. There will normally be a line to order, but it's well worth the wait. Personally, I enjoy visiting in he colder/rainy months as there is nothing better than enjoying clam chowder in a sourdough roll during a rainy evening. Andria's is one of those restaurants where you have to think about your order because there are so many wonderful choices. Highly recommend.

Orderd the Deep fried 🐔🐔 sandwich and was awesome with a side order of 🧀🧀 cheese🍟🍟 fries with green onions.🤤🤤🤤

Excellent food & service. I have been coming here for years, never had a bad meal. There is covered outdoor seating & it's near Ventura Harbor.

Food is great. However, there is a big issue with cleanness of the place. Not only chairs and tables are really cheap and old‌, they are EXTREMELY dirty.

Excellent seafood. Fresh, yummy and price is fair for such generous portions. Usually a line, but it moves quick because service is very organized. Highly recommend.

Consistently good fish and other seafood. Love the clam chowder! Very busy especially on the weekends, but worth the wait. Love to look out over the water and boats while I eat. Open air restaurant so watch out for the birds on the covered patio.

I have been coming to this restaurant for 20 plus years, and have never had bad food or service. It is a simple seafood restaurant, you order at the counter and sit and wait for your number to be called to get your food. They have everything from fish and chips to grilled Seafood served with rice and veggies to salads... They even have chicken strips for those kids who don't like seafood. It is a simple restaurant with excellent food. I live over a hundred and twenty miles away and I have come multiple times just for lunch and the view of the ocean, the harbor. This isn't a fancy place but it is a family owned and ran shop and restaurant with excellent food

Very disappointing. We had the grilled shrimp skewers and the classic fish and chips. The shrimp was super greasy and under cooked. I sent it back and it was returned still undercooked. Our French fried were limp and we had requested them to be crispy. The fish and chips look great but we’re greasy and kind of soggy. I’ve eaten there before but don’t think I can return. The seating areas are run down and filled with birds.

Ordered fish and chips and chicken strips. The cod was not flavorful, just tasted bland. The only good thing was the batter, which made a good crispy crust and was thoroughly cooked. Fries were not fancied, they were soggy and needed some salt or something. Just tasted meh. Didn’t even get through the chicken. The outside crust has a weird taste, inside chicken tasted alright.I also ordered the Clam chowder and it was so good and actually had a lot of good elements. I love the sourdough bread bowl. Next time I’ll just order the clam chowder so I can save $30 because I didn’t even eat the other items

best fish n chips I've had very delicious. casual setting for a date, low lighting at night. I have no complaints, all my requests were met. clam chowder is awesome I highly recommend it. 5 bucks gets you a decent sized bowl of chowder.fries could be better but who eats fish n chips for the fries?

Easy to order there, as soon as you enter the building. Menu is posted outside to help with figuring out ahead of time. Lots of birds flying around outside area. Food was good and cooked quickly small area to walk around later after dinner then you can cross the street and visit the beach

Great clam chowder. I also ordered the fried combo and split it. Lots of good food. Fish, shrimp, scallops and clams. Very good

We love visiting the harbor and eating at Andria`s. Queen capensis is my favorite.

Food was very good. Pick up/buss your food yourself. Not much in the way of ambiance except that you're near the water. But this is reflected in the prices.

Love the fresh seafood here. The Captain's Combo is great for the variety, and they switched out the Calamari for more Fish filets. (I actually like Calamari, but some in our party don't, so that's for another time). The tartar sauce was the tastiest I've had in a long time. The food was served hot and ready so quickly. We love to dine on the patio and watch the harbor.The staff is so friendly and helpful, and the line moves right along, even with a crowd. So efficient.Come for the food, stay for the ambiance.

Amazing variety of seafood with very large portion sizes. You will have leftovers. Fish and chips there are the trademark item, can’t go wrong with anything there. They make in house cocktail sauce and tar tar sauce, both are incredible. Go here to eat

I had the combination stir fry and it was so fresh and delicious. Not much seasoning, the dish allowed the fresh seafood and vegetables to speak for themselves. There was a bit of sweet and sour sauce for dipping on the side, but it wasn't needed. It paired well with a glass of chardonnay. My mom had the fried clams with chips and enjoyed that very much. I sampled the fries and they were very satisfying. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the harbor view in the crisp, clear California afternoon. If you're in Ventura, you simply must stop here and then enjoy the shops along the harbor.

Food is freshly prepared, well seasoned, and delicious. Service is top notch and restaurant is clean. Great fair prices for the amount of food you get. Never disappointed when I come here anytime of the year.

I would say that the fish was very good. However, the Clam chowder could be better. Also some of the seating areas were cold and dark so we are disappointed about that. Hopefully you will make more improvements to make it better.

Don't be fooled by the long line to order...it goes quick and it is TOTALLY worth the wait! It's a seat-yourself establishment but there are plenty of tables in the front and the back (FYI the view in the back is amazing). You will receive a buzzer to know when your food is ready. The water and condiments are located right next to the register, grab-and-go after you pay. The food was fresh, delicious, and affordable. Service was excellent and workers were very corteous. I highly recommend this place!

Great fish and chips! The view of the harbor is great! We sat outside. Only problem was the birds are pretty bold and lurk in an attempt to get your food. The food is great can't wait to go again.

OMG! This is a quality dining experience one MUST have. The menu is simple with a balance of appetizers entree's and specials, with a healthy portion of wine and spirits that includes fountain drinks (Coke products). Our server, Mon, was fabulous! Asked us if this was our first time dining here, and once we said yes, he took us through the menu with a smooth patience one would expect at a five star restaurant. As a matter of fact, the entire serving crew was just a smooth and pleasant. We will be sure to return every time we visit the area.
